HOW TO HELP

so many ways to give.

When we arrive with iPods, solemn hospital wards are transformed by sounds of laughter and camaraderie. With their smiles and heartfelt words of gratitude, the young veterans let us know that people like you have made a big difference.

With so many options for giving and helping out, everyone can make an impact. No Donation is too small!

Thanks to you:

  • A rehabilitating soldier enjoys an escape in his favorite song.
  • A bedridden pilot has freedom to connect with loved ones, no matter how far away.
  • A wounded veteran gets lost in a book, even if he can no longer hold a paper copy.
  • Complex medical schedules can be managed in the palm of a hand.

DONATE

iPods for Wounded Veterans is a 100% volunteer organization. No one working on this cause takes a salary. Our only expenditures are minimal media expenses and the costs associated with hand-delivering gifts to wounded veterans. The vast majority of donations go directly to gifts for veterans. No donation is too small, every dollar makes an impact on our injured troops.

You can make a donation in two ways:

CAMPAIGN

Through the iPods for Wounded Veterans Dear Soldier program, 1st through 12th grade students from across the country write letters to wounded soldiers thanking them for their bravery and service. We hand deliver these letters along with MP3 players, headphones, magazines and more. And every time, the words of appreciation and support mean more than any gift we could give. We are always accepting letters to bring to veterans. Get the details and rules for putting together a campaign in your or your child’s school!

“There’s just something about a soldier opening up a thank you letter from a child that really strikes a chord. It is an amazing experience to witness.”
